Banking on the Future Logo

Each year, Mechanics Savings Bank awards $17,000 in scholarships to graduates from 11 local high schools pursuing their higher education goals through our Banking on the Future scholarship program. Students are selected by their high school guidance department based on their accomplishments in and out of the classroom. All of the scholarship recipients demonstrated academic success; service to their school, community and/or family; and involvement in extracurricular activities.
